[question] Issue with SchemaInit(Registry &) #409
Description
Hello. Please, may you explain how do I link a schema properly?
I am trying to compile and link code from: http://stepcode.github.io/docs/p21_cpp_example/
I get such error when linking
Error LNK2019 unresolved external symbol "__declspec(dllimport) void __cdecl SchemaInit(class Registry &)" (__imp_?SchemaInit@@YAXAEAVRegistry@@@Z) referenced in function main readStepFILE
My list of VC++ directories is:
$(STEPCODE_DIR);
$(STEPCODE_DIR)\include\stepcode;
$(STEPCODE_DIR)\include\stepcode\clutils;
$(STEPCODE_DIR)\include\stepcode\cldai;
$(STEPCODE_DIR)\include\stepcode\cleditor;

$(IncludePath)
My list of linked libs is:
$(STEPCODE_DIR)\lib\stepcore.lib;
$(STEPCODE_DIR)\lib\stepeditor.lib;
$(STEPCODE_DIR)\lib\stepdai.lib;
$(STEPCODE_DIR)\lib\steputils.lib;
$(STEPCODE_DIR)\lib\base.lib;
%(AdditionalDependencies)
How to use schema? How do I link the schema and overcome error?

I had to link to sdai_pdm.lib as well. I got it from built repository.
Check the \Debug\lib\ folder inside your built repository. Generate with CMAKE, Compile it in VS, and manually copypaste the lib file with schema. It won't be copied to INSTALL directory.
