# Ionic JavaScript Overview

`@ionic/core` brings the full power of the Ionic Framework to JavaScript developers. ## JavaScript Version Support

## Installation

Before you begin, make sure you have [Node.js](https://nodejs.org/) (which includes npm) installed on your machine.

```shell
$ npm create vite@latest my-app -- --template vanilla

$ cd my-app
$ npm install && npm install @ionic/core
$ npm run dev █
```
