Own the system that runs your organization.

Describe your tables, pages, permissions and automations in one file. Sovrium runs the application, on your own infrastructure.

A plan of the cooperative app, drawn from its file: one table, members, with three fields, and one page at the root, read by everyone.

The file, and the page it serves

The members page of the cooperative app, running from the file beside it

Thirty-nine lines, one table, one page. Copy the file, run the three commands below, and you are looking at the same screen.

app.yaml

Six signs the tool is running you.

Read them for the system you use today. Three or more, and it is worth an afternoon to check what a file could replace.

A rented stack

The bill rises and nobody decided it.

An automation exists to repair another one.

Nobody inside can say how it all holds together.

A view takes five seconds, so the team went back to the spreadsheet.

An app the AI wrote

It works, and nobody can explain why.

Nobody has tried the export, and the person who built it has left.

Already on Airtable, Notion, Baserow, n8n, Make, Zapier, Typeform or Google Sheets? sovrium import reads it once, read-only, and writes your file. How import works

From nothing to a running app in three steps.

Three commands and the application is serving. Each step shows the command and what it actually prints.

Step 1

Install Sovrium.

One command, on your machine or your server.

Every way to install, and the desktop app
>_ terminal
curl -fsSL https://sovrium.com/install | sh
sovrium 0.45.0 installed to /usr/local/bin/sovrium
Step 2

Write the file, or have your AI write it.

Your AI assistant gets the manual for the exact version you run, and can check what the file means while it works.

sovrium skills and sovrium mcp: what to give your AI agent
>_ terminal
sovrium skills
✓ Agent skills for Sovrium 0.45.0 written to ~/cooperative/.claude/skills (75 updated, 0 removed).
Step 3

Run it.

Point Sovrium at the config and the application is live: tables, auth, pages, a typed API, and an admin space to operate it.

Operate it from the admin space
>_ terminal
sovrium start app.yaml
Sovrium listening on http://localhost:3000

Apps you can open right now.

Each one is a template you can install and change. Open one first: reading a running application tells you more than any feature list.

This site is a Sovrium app.

Everything you are reading runs on the engine you can install, for the price of the server it sits on. Four facts follow, and none of them can go out of date.

1

binary serves this site, and it is the one you download

100 %

of this site’s pages, redirects and metadata are declared in configuration

0 €
for the engine: free and self-hosted. The server is on you.
0

React components written to build it

Every feature is a few lines of configuration.

Tables, permissions, automations, forms, files, AI agents, theme. Pick one and read exactly what declaring it costs.

Tables and fieldsSorting, filters, searchPages and componentsAccounts and permissionsAutomationsPublic formsFile storageAI agentsTheme

More than fifty field types, from plain text to currency, relations, formulas and seven AI fields.

app.yaml
tables:
  - name: contacts
    fields:
      - { id: 1, name: full_name, type: single-line-text, required: true }
      - { id: 2, name: email, type: email }
      - { id: 3, name: stage, type: single-select, options: [Prospect, Client, Perdu] }
      - { id: 4, name: budget, type: currency, currency: EUR }
And to operate it. The same file carries the parts a vendor sells as a plan: migration, documents, languages, backups, the design tokens, the console. Start with the console.

Three ways to go further.

The engine is free and stays free. Around it, three offers, each on its own terms.
