Root cause

The XO 5 upgrade introduced 35 lint errors in model JSDoc and package metadata, failing both CI Node versions before the build or tests ran.

Changes

  • Apply the new multiline JSDoc and package metadata conventions.
  • Declare the package side-effect-free; source modules have no import-time side effects.
  • Preserve the existing top-level TypeScript types entry point with a package.json-only prefer-exports override.
  • Make the Mocha glob portable across Linux and Windows.

Validation

The existing npm test command passes lint, TypeScript build, and all three tests locally on Node 24.16.0. One pre-existing max-line-length warning remains.

Normalize model JSDoc and package metadata for XO 5. Preserve the legacy TypeScript entry point with a package-scoped rule override, and use a portable Mocha test glob.
