2.2.0: drop podcast support (Spotify, Apple Podcasts, RSS retired by … …the API on 2026-09-10) Co-Authored-By: Claude Fable 5.1 <[email protected]> Claude-Session: https://claude.ai/code/session_01Bvy7DkJCC1ubcKyJEGgmsm
2.0.0: API v2 Targets /api/v2: one error block on every failure (code, number, message, docs, retry_with | details | issues), family-based exception classes (NotFoundError, BatchTooLargeError, UnprocessableInputError), batch entries with three outcomes and an error block, Transcript.source, TranscriptJob error block. v1 stays reachable until 2027-09-03; 1.x keeps working. 1.1.1: npm listing refresh (description, keywords, homepage) Co-Authored-By: Claude Fable 5 <[email protected]>
1.1.0: batch audio fallback, speaker ids, drop dead cached field
Match the API's batch changes: captionless entries are now transcribed
from audio by default, returning outcome "processing" with a job_id
(free on that call, billed on delivery). Adds the mode option
("auto" | "captions") on batch(), lifts jobId/pollUrl/reason/message
onto BatchResult, carries the optional podcast-diarization speaker id
through on segments, and removes BatchResult.cached, which the API no
longer sends. Documents that upstream platform blocks answer 503
(never 429); the retry policy already covers that.
